| Being surrounded by friends, by people who think the same is very comfortable and it gives us the idea that the world is secure. The Daylily shows me that we seek the ones who tend to think like us and act like us. That is comfortable. Each Daylily is unique. They enjoy the same sun, the same soil and the same community yet it is possible that they may have completely different needs and requirements.
Isn"t that what makes life so interesting, the differentiation? How wonderful that there are many Roads to Rome! How great that there is actually not one way which is "The Way." We all have to find our own way to discover what we think is the ultimate. Daylily has found out and is celebrating it. |
