Poppies don’t flower long. They have an overwhelmingly powerful bud, then they flower for a day or two and subsequently they drop their petals. All those fragile colourful pieces drift away on the wind, following another destination. But once flowering you can’t ignore the Poppy. She is so gracious and looks so happy. The Poppy lives her life in a short time but she lives it to the fullest. She doesn’t hesitate to show how radiant she is and at the same time how precious. She knows that life needs to be lived day by day and that it doesn’t matter how long that day is but what you put in it. This poppy has put all that she is into her appearance. She is a tall poppy |
